If my search overlooked something, please point me to it!
I'm looking for a preferably stainless multi-ply oval covered roaster. I'm open to other materials but I prefer the durability of stainless for this one. I do not want enameled cast iron options though. I have the cheap Graniteware thin steel options but, I want something a bit better quality and more even heating.
I considered a Viking roaster but, made in China with a wobbly lid is not attractive to me at $150. I want one for things like Turkey breasts and normal 2 1/2~3 pound chickens with room for veggies and other similar things.
I would like to stay in the $100~$150 range but, I'm not opposed to going cheaper and could go a bit higher for good reason. Also, I'd rather pay for quality upfront and avoid replacing a pan that didn't work out as the most expensive things I ever buy are the ones to replace a product that didn't work!
TIA,
Sid
