I have a browned area behind one burner from a recent session with a large stock pot on high for a while. My own suspicion is that the stainless cleaner 'Sheila Shine' that we got with the range was burned, being that it's oil based, and thus left a residue on the stainless surface.
I've tried the basic club soda, vinegar, etc. with no luck. Before turning to something like oven cleaner, i thought i'd see if anyone here had any suggestions.
