Stacy's Smokehouse-Mini Review (Phoenix)

My husband and I decided to try the new BBQ spot on 16th street and Indian School. It is a purple building that I have passed the last 30 days in my daily travels. I have been craving some really good ribs as well.

First off be prepared to wait about 10 min to order your food At the counter and 20-25 min to get your food. Also cash only! Their menu is on a blackboard and plaing paper menu. There were about 4 people in front of us before we could order.

We decided on 1/2 rack of pork ribs (9.99)
1/2 0rder of rib tips chicago style(over fries) (5.50)
3 pieces of fried chicken (1.99) each peice only mon-fri after 3pm
2 sides :
Mac and cheese (2.99)
Collard Greens (2.99)

Warning!!! the wait will kill you the smell is ridiculously great.

So our order finally came here is my quick review

Ribs very meaty huge order looked like a whole rack. Tangy and sweet sauce.

Rib tips very good as well a diff sauce a little tangier. Fries soggy I didnt realize what chicago style was.

The fried chicken was so moist and tasty we had 2 legs and 1 breast. It was very very good my husband preferred the fried chicken and mac and cheese the best.

The mac and cheese was soooo good. BTW i am not a mac and cheese fan at all and it was mind blowing I can hardly explain just get it!!!

Collard greens were okay prob wouldn't order again.

Overall good experince I would like to order the pork sandwich next time and less ribs. It was alot of take home.
