St. Pete - Vietnamese Sandwiches

I saw the words "Vietnamese Sandwiches" on a window on 34th St. N. (Thuy Cafe at 5944 34th St. N). HAving read about Vietnamese Sandwiches elsewhere on this board I was intrigued.

My husband and I each got the combo sandwich, which had cold roast pork among other meats, paper thin slices of jalapeno peppers, herbs, and carrot slivers (pickled mildly) and daikon, also lightly pickled. All of this was on a crusty french roll. For $3.50 each, we each got a sandwich that could have been split, and paired with a cup of soup or salad for a full meal. It was REALLY good, fresh, tasty and top quality ingredients.

There is a Vietnamese restaurant in the same stip center - Mekong. Has anyone been there?
