St Louis People (Burbs) - Need Restaurant / Cocktail Joint Help!!!

FineGrubber | Apr 1, 201511:47 AM     18

Ok, I know downtown StL pretty well in terms of restaurants, but I'm in a different situation here and need some local folks help. Myself and 7 other late 30's gentlemen (term used loosely) are coming down for a weekend of golf for a charity we all support in mid-April. We will be staying in the Westport area (which I am not familiar with). I'm having trouble finding a restaurant that would suit us. I'm thinking higher end steakhouse, with a guy / clubbish feel. Would like to bring some special wines along, and possibly find a restaurant with a private room. Please help me avoid 3* chains, though we'd be ok with a Capital Grille / Ruth's Chris type joint. Our goal is cab it someplace CLOSE to the Westport area.

Now if you know all this, maybe you can also direct us to someplace to have post-dinner cocktails. Cigar bar?

I appreciate it in advance!
