I was saddned when I learned today of the closing of Miss Hullings and the Branding Iron when I spoke to my friend in St. Louis. Although not haute cuisine, they both served pretty good food. I would consider Miss Hullings to have the equivalent nogstalgic value as Horn and Hardart did in New York. I once did the Heimlich maneuver in Miss Hullings, which is no reflection on its food. Does anyone know when and anything about these closings?
