Restaurants & Bars 7

St. Louis

We are taking a one-day road-trip to St. Louis next week for the one and only reason of eating dinner at The Hill! (Coming from Champaign, IL) Have not been there for at least ten years. Would like to find out some favorites are so we can hopefully pick a good one. Cannot afford expensive dinners right now so hoping for something mid-range that is more creative than just basic spaghetti or lasagna (i.e. mushroom ravioli, pumpkin ravioli, gnocchi, risotto, etc.) I know pasta is more of a "first course" to Italians but that's the main course for me. I'm goin' for the pasta! From the little research I've done on the Internet so far, Trattoria Marcella, Lorenzo's Trattoria, and Gian-Tony's look like possibilities. Thanks for any help!!
