St. Joseph's Table, fish frys

Joyful Foodie | Mar 20, 200401:53 PM

I've really appreciated the info on this board about local restaurants that serve fried fish but I wonder if there are not more people who think like me that a real "fish fry" means a once-a-year kind of thing (or seasonal) in a church basement or VFW hall. It has to have a Brigadoon-y ephemeral quality to it. Not a commercial restaurant. Something that, the entire time you are there, you are slightly concerned that the wheels are gong to come off the cart at any minute because it is so wonderfully amateur.

So the search continues.

Here's some info about some local fish frys. Also some St. Joseph's Table events around the area, mostly tomorrow. --Joyful, (still looking for banana leaves :-))
