Hi all- I have the happy task of putting together our wedding registry & would like to have a very nice SS pan. Ideally we could use this pan (on our gas stove) for a variety of tasks- searing & pan sauces mostly. I've read some of the very long threads on here about SS cookware, but I couldn't find anything recent that quite answers my question. Whatever pan I decide on, I plan to handle it in store so I can make sure I don't hate the handles (for instance). I've been looking into Demeyere (specifically Proline & S7) and Mauviel, but also noticed that the SLT house brand of tri-ply SS & the Le Creuset SS have some good reviews. For an excellent quality 10-12 inch clad SS skillet for gas stove, what would be your choice?
