Thinking of heading up north in the next hour or so to a classic clam/lobstah stack and am wondering if hounds can weigh in quickly on some of the best choices.
I was thinking of Essex Seafood, but do they have outside seating? I've got a pup coming along so I'd love to be able to bring him. I know I can at Farnhams, so that could be an option.
And Woodman's too, right?
Any other suggestions in that same vein? Basically looking for classic NE fare, maybe some chowder, boiled lobstah, fried clams/onion rings. Does not need to be anything fancy but good food ideally with a nice view (i know farnhams fits the bill for that, but again was maybe hoping for another option as i have been there.)
Hoping for somewhere less than an hour drive from Boston. It can actually be south too,if that helps, though I think traffic will be more brutal heading outta the city southbound than north.
Appreciate any/all suggestions but please, respond fast! It's almost 5 and I wanna leave soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
