Spruce up frozen steamed vegetables

Due to time constraints lately, I've been preparing lots of frozen vegetables by steaming. We eat it as a side (not adding to main dishes). I normally do broccoli, or spinach, or peas, or brussels sprouts. How can I make them tasty beyond salt and pepper? I've had one recipe using breadcrumbs to spruce up my broccoli but I can't do that all the time. Do you have a QUICK and easy sauce? I've tried a balsamic v + olive oil combination for the peas but that didn't work out too well. Online recipes offer me suggestions that include a dozen ingredients, and I don't want that hassle. Any ideas, please?
