Visited Montreal in Fall 2009 for the first time (SO had been before) and can't wait to return to the food mecca this Spring. Delicious . . . thanks for all your suggestions:
I'm just starting my research and beginning a search of this Board from late 2009+.
We really enjoyed DNA (except for the decor and music) and their wine list. Views of the water . . . Probably wouldn't return to Europea. Lunch at Montee was very good - simple and fresh (probably wouldn't go for dinner). Dinner at Version (now closed?) was also good. Dined on the patio . . . Casual recs are also welcome. All cuisines (except for deli & Greek & Chinese, Korean, etc. which we can get in NYC . . .I only eat poultry and fish) and price ranges okay. Considering Au Pied du Cochon. Hope to try a Montreal bagel this trip :)
>Sadly Sparrow where we had a delicious breakfast is now closed . . . .and La Montee on Bishop . . .
