Spring Rolls???!!

so why is this place so terrible? inexpensive yes. nice decor yes. colourful drinks yes. but... terrible food. i cannot get over how bad this place is in relation to how much everone loves it. i've been to the one on yonge and the one on dundas and both were huge letdowns. the soggiest tofu drowned in a pool of bland sauce. all i could do was eat my veggies and rice and hope for a better dessert. i ordered deep fried banana & ice cream (sounds nice) but the only choices of green tea and mango ice cream really did not complement the banana (wanted chocolate...), which was bland and tasted worse than just the banana plain. i guess i was hoping for something more like fried bananas i've had in the past, which are sweet and caramelized and buttery...mmmm... (on a sidenote, where can i buy that in toronto??)

what do you guys think of this place?

.it must be the inoffensive blandness that makes people want to go back here. or am i missing something?
