Had a pretty nice meal, it was my first time. the gnudi were good and my burger was decent. we were aghast when my friend's main course $12 caesar salad showed up. It was truly two leaves of romaine cut into quarters. next to my $13 burger, it was laughable. we thought it was a mistake but the waiter confirmed this was a main course salad in the style of the spotted pig. I couldn't let it go and asked the "manageress" if this was correct, how could this cost one dollar less than the big burger and mound of fries? Her answer: "You're in New York City""Yes" I replied, "I know what city I'm in but isn't this a bit absurd?" She responded by saying the ingredients were organic and very expensive. OK, I let it go. But excuse me, we're talking lettuce here.
Moral of story - enjoy the Pig but don't order a salad!
