Need a Spot for a Seafood Boil in August

Hello all~Not much of a poster on this site~but sure enjoy gathering information for our future visits!
Planning a "milestone" birthday celebration in August~suprising the Birthday Boy with friends and family flying in for part of our stay!
We are staying in the Quarter and will have a full kitchen, so I know that I could pull this off by ordering from Big Fisherman a huge feast and having a "house party" but~
I would rather find a spot~casual, friendly, neighborhood "joint" , and with live music that would set us up with the "works"~Just in case I am not using the right term-the all in one pot with shrimp, crawfish, potatoes, corn , sausage-and "dumped" on the table meal!
I'm thinking some great bread, and cold beer would just put this over the top!
We will have 8 adults, 2 children-ages 11 and 12 ~and I know from other forums that if there are gaming machines, children are not allowed- It would have to be a place that is "kid friendly"
We will have a driver for the evening, so location is not a really big deal! Finding the right venue is more important than location.
Any spots like this, (even if I can't pull of the "Boil" ) your recommendations would be welcome!
Thanks so much, Cheers!
