I last dined at Spoon a bit over six months ago. At that time, their wine list was pretty light on wines in the $125 - $250 range. Apart from a Patrick Piuze 1er Cru Chablis, the white Burgundy pickings were very slim. Their sommelier, who was actually pretty knowledgeable, indicated that their inventory was low and that mid level white Burgundies was a segment of the wine list that they were looking to upgrade in the near future.
Any idea whether that got done? As a whole, I was very unimpressed with the list last time I went. It's a shame that such good food doesn't have spectacular wine to go along with it.
