Little Bear had a great line up of sour beers on Thursday.
The highlight was Spontaneous Cheer from the Lost Abbey.
A tart peach sour beer.
A little low on the carbonation but other then that it was almost perfect.
It had just enough sour bite to offset the sweetness. The nose was fruit and funk. The taste held up to the nose.
Unlike the mess Younger is these days this was a opportunity to taste a very rare special beer in LA that despite being advertised in the mainstream media had no lines, tickets or fanfare.
Hype vs ripe...
Spontaneous Cheer was ripe for the picking at Little Bear.
