My wife and I will be in Rome for 4 nights in mid-June with our 11 and 12 year old kids. We are trying to pick one restaurant for a splurge while we are there. After research and tips from various sources, we are considering Perilli, Roscioli, Ad Hoc and Il Gabrielli but are generally overwhelmed with the plethora of choices and very open to suggestions.
For context, this is our first trip to Rome; all of us, including the kids, are adventurous eaters and patient enough for the Italian dinner marathon experience; we are staying near the Barbierini metro stop but will go anywhere in the city; for this one night, price is not a concern; this likely will be a Tues or Wed night. We would love to find a lively place with truly memorable food.
Thanks in advance for your wisdom!
