I couldn't get Bob's mouthwatering review out of my mind, so I had to go to Spicy and Tasty last night. We arrived about 8:10; it was packed, with people jamming the door, and were told it was a half hour wait for a table. Good for them!
However, we were starving, so we headed across the street to Lai Food, site of a previous Chowhound dinner. We had a fabulous meal; spicy tripe and shrimp roll appys, mixed seafood with vegetables, and Taiwan-style mu shoo pork, made with fresh rice flour crepes. Really wonderful.
But I still want to get to Spicy and Tasty!!
