Spicy Potatoes Au gratin style

sbbodcderf | Mar 20, 202008:55 PM     8

I have some basics. 9x13 glass casserole, Russets, milk, sharp cheddar, pepper jack, yellow onions, green onions, jalapenos, pickled jalapenos, dehydrated pickled jalapenos. I also have on hand ham, bacon, chicken thighs, fresh frozen broccoli, panko, ritz crackers, cheezits, bread crumbs, saltines.

Just curious. The recipes I find call for layering the potatoes. Why couldn't you just mix all the proportioned ingredients in a bowl and just pour them in the casserole?

What are your opinions on that and what spin you would put on this concoction?
