Had some gnocchi with spicy tomato sauce, peppers and sausage last night at a favorite Italian restaurant. It was delicious, perfectly seasoned with red pepper flake and the right amount of sweet sausage and heat. Brought leftover for lunch today, heated up in MW. OMG! I now will have to seek out an antacid as the burning in my chest is unbelieveable. Does spicy food get spicer when it sits around, even in the fridge?
