Any Spectator WOTY speculators?

Frodnesor | Nov 15, 200712:35 PM     13

Yes, I know all the complaints about the pointssystem, the crass commercialism, that it's just a way to placate their advertisers, sell subscriptions, etc. Still, I get a kick out of trying to pick the Wine Spectator top 10 wines of the year and the "Wine of the Year."

I'm a little late to the game this year, as they've already announced 10 - 2. Link here ->

But we can still see if someone picks the #1.

With a pretty rudimentary system and access to WS's wine ratings search, I was able to pick 5 of the 9 already named, and think I have a pretty darn good hunch on number one. Last year I picked 7 of 10 (but not #1).

Does anyone else play this game?

Anyone want to make their own guess? (I'll post mine later tonight).
