Ok , after waiting months to try this place out , we finally went there a couple of weeks ago . First , the building . It's tiny , rather dark inside , very pub like . Now the good part , the food . I had 2 specials , a scotch egg appetizer , & oyster stew w. wild mushrooms . The egg was ok , with a nice horse radish sauce . The stew was good enough that I would put it up against ANY oyster stew I've ever had . So rich , but man it was good . Now the bad part . Something my mate ate gave her a touch of what acted like food poisoning . She had lamb kabobs for a app. , onion soup , & trout encrusted in oatmeal . I'd vote fish , but she thought it was the soup . Even after that ordeal ( she got over it quickly ) , I think we'd try them out again . The food was pretty good & the prices were right . Also had Corsendonk beer on tap ( tasty ) !
