Special Graduation dinner--not frou frou

SueFH | Sep 1, 201605:33 PM     14

Yes, it's early. But my daughter heard The Top of the Hub is "the" place for graduations and I'm guessing it's a typical "nice view meh food tourist trap" like the 95th Floor in Chicago. She booked us a reservation for May.

Ok, so we'd all prefer better food. And dressy/nice. But not Michelin bite-sized portions. We don't need to be stuffed but my husband in particular doesn't enjoy one-bite foamy stuff. He'd like a steak or a great piece of fish.

No real financial restrictions...if it's great and doesn't feel like a "rip off" (his words) we are happy to pay. Well maybe not happy lol.

I had seen Menton and Mistral mentioned. Any more suggestions?
