Hi everyone,

Our group has one night in Kinsale, and we're looking to have a memorable dinner - great food, seafood-focused, fresh local seasonal ingredients, nice atmosphere and service... can be higher end, we don't mind splurging a bit, but we generally prefer simpler preparations with high-end ingredients rather than over-the-top complex fine-dining dishes... Something Irish (food, atmosphere, etc.) would be nice :)

Fishy Fish comes up as the standard recommendation that fits the bill, but I've seen mixed reviews, people often say it's over-rated and over-priced. Max's seems to get favourable reviews. Finn's Table also looks good. I did look through Chowhound, but many of the posts are a bit dated, and I've read the restaurant scene is pretty dynamic in Kinsale and changes every year, so some more recent advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
