A year ago we made a planned pitstop at Spearhead Coffee in Paso Robles. Indeed it does have nice rest rooms. And a pleasant environment for enjoying the morning brew.
Opened two years at that point, the decor sports the reclaimed wood and Edison bulbs that are style features at urban coffeehouses.
Spearhead roasts its own coffee in-house. The owner of Atascadero's Joebella is a partner in the venture.
The barista took a photo of her work before passing the cappuccino to me. She said it was her best so far that day. Pretty, for sure. The roast was quite mild and not that complex, verging on bland.
Yet, I'd return here to try a different coffee drink and for a break from the road.
