I just remembered that I wanted to write about an excellent special that was offered as an appetizer a couple of Sundays ago. It was fried watercress w/ chicken, shrimp & squid. It was essentially a salad, dressed in the familiar lime juice and red pepper - we thought we detected a fish sauce flavor in there as well. The watercress was fried until crispy, then the other ingredients tossed in. Heavenly.
We also enjoyed an entree (from the menu) that comprised coconut rice, a small dish of papaya salad, and about half of a barbecue chicken. Three, three, three dishes in one! A good choice for bird lovers or Thai-phobic friends (and as a bonus, the latter will probably give you their papaya salad!)
BTW, their small patio is open out back. Very pleasant to sit out there.
