First timer there. Had the sirloin, of course. An absolute beaut--perfectly cooked, a real treat, no fuss. But looking and tasting around the table of 8 (non-hounds), I'd pretty much rec only the sirloin. Sliced steak looked uncomfortable under limp peppers and the filet just looked lonely. Tuna was a grey slab, but apparently tasty enough and my few bites of lobster/shrimp were just fine. But I was downright disappointed with the usual suspect (expensive) sides--creamed spinach, hash browns, steamed broc (don't ask) and with the miniscule pours of ridicously priced standard ports/scotches. When/if there's a next time, I'm just getting a steak. Nothing else. Maybe I'll just ask them to hand it to me in the lobby without sitting or checking my coat. They don't even have to bag it. I'll just paw and gum it til it's gone. We'll see.

We had a heck of a nice Pinot Noir, but couldn't tell you what it was - their extensive wine list is self-explanatory and a fun read, though I couldn't see anything relevatory.

Good time for the company and the steak and the wine, but I'm still on the lookout for that ultimate of experiences, besides Lugars of course - I'm going there next, by god.
