Hello Midwestern Chowhounds! I live in Brooklyn, NY, and I'm going to be visiting Southwestern Ohio (Yellow Springs and the Hocking Hills area). I would like some recommendations for authentic, off the beaten track, non-chain food places in that general area. (Willing to travel a bit, but trying to stay away from Dayton and Cincinnati proper.) I'm interested in all types of food, but especially home cooking, pies, biscuits, roadside eateries, etc. I know about Young's in Yellow Springs and the more upscale places there, like the Winds. Would like to expand my horizons. Thanks in advance! (Also, if anyone knows of good local food-oriented Web sites or guidebooks, I'd love to hear about it.)
