Southwest forum format

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I could not find any threads on it, so here I go.

Las Vegas has become one of the top dining destinations in the country over recent years. Phoenix is also a unique dining destination as I can imagine Denver is as well. Not knowing anything about how these decisions are made I ask this. Does Las Vegas deserve its own space on this site? I think so, but what do the hounds think. It seems a little silly to group a world-class dining destination like Vegas with other sought after destinations like Phoenix and Denver, as well as other places like Sedona, Aspen, Salt Lake City, etc.

The Southwest is a diverse region with multiple regions of unique dining. Are we selling each region short by grouping them all in the Southwest forum?
