Michael Anthony's restaurant is truly a spectacular culinary experience. Owner Michael, the chef, and his charming and gracious wife Jill have managed to create an outstanding menu of old favorites twisted to the palates of today. From the home-made gnocci to a five star veal chop, this is undoubtedly the South's best Italian restaurant. Jill has created an atsmophere of perfect and attentive service in a beautifully appointed modern dining room that compliments the food and the reasonable but comprehensive wine list. I was so impressed with our first meal on Saturday evening that we returned the following Friday for an equally wonderful experience. This is truly a destination restaurant.
