Southern Breakfast Food for Xmas Eve Dinner--are we the only ones?

Our family tradition after the long, hot, packed late afternoon Xmas Eve service and pageant is to come home for eggs, grits, smoked country sausage and biscuits--with hot chocolate for all. It started in our family with my father's annual trip to Hall County around Thanksgiving--he went every year to thank a donor to the university he worked for--and there was a roadside stand selling real, true, overstuffed and HOT smoked sausage, which we froze and saved only for very special occasions. Also the breakfast-foods-supper makes for very easy prep when everyone's already hungry.

Anyone other Southerners share some or all of this tradition?
