South Coast Plaza

Over the next month, I'll have a few overnights to Orange County and expect that my entertainment will be power shopping through South Coast Plaza after work and then a light dinner. I found the thread linked below helpful and wonder if you have other suggestions to share near the shopping center.

My client took me to Maggiano's today for lunch. I ordered a "small" chopped salad and a "cup" of minestrone thinking this would be a dainty lunch. When the large size portions were served, I thought my server had surely made a mistake, but he confirmed these were the right size. The soup was quite good, the salad was a soggy mess, but I really liked the herby cheese topped toasts in the warm bread basket. The lemonade is freshly made, but unfortunately way over sweetened. 'Twas interesting to come home to read what 'hounds have posted about the place.
