Best South Bay Restaurants

sffoodie123 | Nov 30, 201410:00 PM     13

Living in the South Bay, it is always frustrating to make the hour+ long trek in traffic to San Francisco or Napa for a fantastic dinner. We have a few decent Chinese restaurants and such, but the number and quality of restaurants overall in the South Bay, especially fine dining places, is terribly lacking, IMO.

I know we have (had) Manresa, but now that its closed for an extended period of time, I was wondering if anyone had some other high quality picks in the south bay. Doesn't matter what type of cuisine it is. I've been to Plumed Horse, Madera, and Baume in terms of fine dining places and been to a plethora of mid-range spots (mainly asian), but have yet to be blown away like I have with SF restaurants. (other than Manresa)
