Years and years ago there was a little Peruvian hole in the wall on 3rd St. near NYU. Most of the food was OK, but the fish soup was amazing. The place is long gone (it's been at least 3 places since). The soup was based on stock, had no tomatoes, had (I think) corn, and lots of different kind of fish
Was this soup unique to the place? Is it a South American or Peruvian thing? Is there someplace else I can get it?
