I only find one line mentions in Chowhound about this Portuguese restaurant in San Jose. Those one lines say that it has been recommended by Portuguese friends.
I was talking to a Portuguese lady today and telling her about a Portuguese restaurant. She had the same type of look on her face that some Vietnamese get when you mention Slanted Door.
She started talking about Sousas in San Jose and her face just lighted up. I guess they have an excellent PORCO à ALENTEJANA,, pork and clam stew. She said the portions were very generous as well. She said I would have a better limpet experience there.
So has anyone been? It seems from the link below, there is a little Portugal section in San Jose (or at least at the time of the review.

Im starting to think the South Bay gets overlooked. There are different ethnicities that dont get explored. SF is covered to death, ditto for the Wine Country well at least the well known star stuff. The East Bay gets SOME attention, but perhaps not as much as it should. But SJ thru Santa Cruz, not so good in terms of coverage in the press. Even the following link is from 1996,
