I am NOT sold on sous vide. But will admit I am somewhat intrigued. Prowling around various sites, I have narrowed my theoretical choices down to the Anova and the Chefman. Both have wi-fi and can be used in the manual mode as in no smart phone necessary. Such is not the case with the Joule, highly rated. Both companies are very quick to answer inquiries while others take their time and some do not have a contact page on their site. So, for those who use either of the two mentioned tools, what do you like and dislike? How detailed and extensive are the apps?
