I just started my first sourdough starter and I had a few questions I hope fellow hounds can answer.
What sort of consistancy should I be looking for? I have been stirring it 2-3 times a day and when its stirred it seems thin, but having never made a starter before I don't know if thats normal.
Also, can it be stored in plastic or should I store it in a glass jar? and finally when will I know its ready?
Any help would be appreciated.
