"Soup Nazis", "Noodle Nazis" and Kong Sing Cafeteria

Ever since Jen Maiser's quest yesterday for a big salad, I've been riffing on Seinfeld. I started a thread on the Not About Food Board about Seinfeld and Chow (58 messages and counting).

A subthread in that discussion on the "Soup Nazi" episode and enforced cafeteria protocol led me to recollections about the Kong Sing Cafeteria (upstairs, Drumm St. between California and Sacramento).

Kong Sing offered uncommonly good steam table fare (I think it has a connection to B&M Mei Sing on Second St.), super-low prices and all the free tea you could drink. That cafeteria line moved FAST, and you'd better have your mind made up the minute the first server lady made eye contact with you. If you tried to sneak ahead behind the line to look over someone's shoulder and get a good look at what was being served that day, one of the server ladies would wave her tongs at you and admonish sternly, "NO LOOKING!" We called her the "Noodle Nazi."

Haven't been to Kong Sing in quite a while, since our office moved away from the area. Is Kong Sing still serving cheap, decent cafeteria food, and keeping its customers in line?
