There must be some hungry people in this part of town. Not only are there BJ's and Queen of the Sea, buffets written about by Rene, but there is a third place just a few more blocks south, Soul Queen. Has anyone been?
I have no idea about the food, but I got to say that I loved the exterior, a nice example of 50's "googie" architecture. There werea a couple of other mid-century buildings this way on Stony Island. It gave the street a hint of Miami Beach (believe me, it was just a hint, I have a vivid imagination).
Soul Queen has a web site, see below. One thing I noticed about the prices that may be deceptive, is that BJ's includes all-you-can drink with their price. Soul Queen aparantly does not.
Soul Queen is at 90391 S. Stony Island, Chicago.
