Looking for the Soul Food of my people...

I was born on St. Patrick's Day and my father had insisted on serving Corned Beef and cabbage on my birthday for years, until I put my foot down and cooked my own meal. The only real problem with it is he would overcook the cabbage and the whole house would smell like sulfur which is what put me off the meal.

Well dad passed away last year and in his honor I would like to find a place to have good corned beef and cabbage along with a pint of Guinness drawn from a tap. I'd also prefer a place where I wouldn't be competing with the revelers who'd been drinking since 2pm and no place that serves green beer.
