Driving back from the airport the parking goddess opened up a spot right in front of Sorrentos on Sepulveda in Culver City. Partner disappeared while I stayed in the AC with Devil Chow and his Missis and then emerged first with two dozen fresh eggs and a pile of cold cuts, cheeses, wonderful bread and some orzo. A Dutch friend who is big on cheese and fresh eggs told me that they don't always have the fresh eggs and to call ahead (we didn't and got lucky). Made an omelette for dinner with TJ's dried mushrooms and shallots as a filling - the eggs DO matter, fresh you can taste the difference for sure.

Didn't have time to stop at Jasmine, an Iraqi deli (halal) just north of Washington. This and the Egyptian deli at Redondo Beach Blvd east of the 405 are favorites for Mid East food.
