Had a wonderful dinner last night at Sorellina (our 1st time there). Room is very attractive and definetely a bit quieter than Mistral. It had the same quality feel as Mistral, as the small details were all 1st class (linens, stemware, silverware, etc.).
We shared the Tuna Tatare, and YES it's as good as everyone says. WOnderful presentation and I thought a very generous portion as well. The tuna had a immediate spiceness that smoothed out after a second or two. Delicious.
My wife had the Sirloin, served with some type of garlic compost. Outstanding. Again, I thought the portion was generous and the flavor put it ahead of many of the traditional steakhouses.
I had the Veal, which was also fantastic. Huge cut and very flavorful (don't order it if you hate oregano).
We had to try the Truffle Parmesean Fries as a side dish. WOW. Enough for 3 or 4 people to split. I don't know how we finished them. Yummy.
Didn't even have room for dessert.
Food bill came to $120.
Service was "Mistral"-like, very friendly and knowledable.
Overall we were very impressed and would highly recommend!
