I have had a few lunches and brought a different friend every time. Each person raved about the food, friendly service and quaint atmosphere. The Sophia Salad is a feast with the chef's own pickings - peaches, raspberries, blueberries, red peppers on fresh greens with a vinagrette dressing - $4.95. The falafels are moist and flavorful, quite generous in the homemade pitabread sandwich. The desserts include baklava, apple strudel, fruitfilled tarts all made by the owner who I understand previously owned the Grand Bakery in Oakland.
If you frequent HolyLand and Zands, you'll love Sophia Cafe.
