Sopa de Pan TO DIE FOR

Well, I live in Tarrytown and have gone to the new Mexican place on Valley St. in Sleepy Hollow, Que Chula Es Puebla, a couple of times. Food's OK, but I stumbled onto the Bread Soup. I tell you, it is the best soup I ever ate. Lots of garlic in a rich broth, with two eggs poached firm into the soup, and what I believe are fresh, large croutons dropped in at the last moment. The croutons are tasty, crunchy, but absorbing the broth... the eggs in the soup... the whole thing makes me nuts! $5, and it is a meal. Did I have the soup, plus the shrimp in guajillo sauce for dinner... yes, but the soup alone is a meal for most people (I am a "big boy"). Worth the trip alone. Will continue to look for outstanding entrees as well. The paella my wife had was actually pretty good, rich in decent shellfish and, again, a deep flavoring that was very nice.
