HOURS: Daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tasting Fee ($5), Event Facilities, Picnic Facilities, Daily Guided Tours ($10)
TASTING FEE: Four tastes are offered for $5 from a list of about 20 white, red and sweet wines. The sheet which is available at the tasting bar has a brief description and price by the glass, bottle and case.
TOUR: Daily at 11 a.m., 2:15 p.m. & 3 p.m. $10/person. The website has detailed information about the tour under 'events'
PICNIC FACILITIES: There are signs that note that only food purchased at the winery may be consumed on the picnic grounds. There are many red picnic tables (over 50) on the green lawn and a patio with bistro tables outside the tasting room. Picnic areas overlook vineyards and wetlands.
FOOD AVAILABLE: There is a nice deli that serves sandwiches, salads and cheese. In addition there is an extensive selection of house-labeled antipasti's, pasta, pasta sauces, spices, oils, vinegars, condiments, pestos, soup mixes, grilling sauces, salsas, dessert sauces, jams, snacks and candies. Of course wine is available by the bottle or the glass. Glasses of wine range between $5 - $12 with most $6-$7. The website lists all the jarred items available. The market is VERY generous with samples of these.
HANDICAPPED ACCESS: Wheelchair access with some degree of difficulty. People with limited mobility might also have problems negotiating the stairs to the tasting room or path up the steep hill that is available to those in wheelchairs. Aisles in the market are wide enough to comfortably accommodate wheel chairs but the tasting bar is high so that area might be awkward. For the hearing-impaired a booklet is provided for the guided tour.
GETTING THERE: Located on one of the main roads to Sonoma, finding and driving to the winery is easy. There are a number of parking lots. A small lot is located next to the winery. A larger lot is located further down the hill and seems to be quite the uphill walk to the winery.
