If you want a pretentious meal this is the place for you! We have travelled all over the country and this is the first time we ever felt like 'two rubes in the big city" The menu was confusing to say the least. The only time we felt good in the place was when we observed other diners looking as lost and confused as we were! "Firsts" "Seconds" What? No dish came with anything. And, for the price! A little explanation would have been nice. I did see one waiter spend over 25 minutes explaining the menu to a very confused group! 25 minutes! And it was in good old English! Our waitress couldn't take even 5 minutes for us!
I have heard of places like this, now I have experienced one. They say in California and NY they have restaurants that do not even have a name over the door. This is one step from that. A menu should welcome- not confound. If you are a food snob, this is the place for you! You can pretend you 'know' food. Good luck, with what ever you wind up with.

The Mendocino salad with seasonal veggies was nothing more than Dole's Spingmix with shaved carrots! The description on the menu was nothing close to what we were served!
