While I would travel just about anywhere, and suffer all kinds of non-fabulous conditions to find good food, the rest of my family is not quite there yet.
I've already spent hours trying to find a place to go with my family for my brother's birthday. I'm just about stumped.
Here's the criteria:
Brother says: "Not some little crowded hole-in-the wall." and "Flatiron, Gramercy or Union Square HIGHLY preferred locations." and "No Middle Eastern or Mexican, though other types of Latin are probably ok." and "I love Asian, but I eat that all the time. I want something a little bit special for my birthday."
Dad says: "Entrees under $30" and "I know we've been to Candela like 4 times, and Kum Gang San about 10, but wouldn't those be great AGAIN?"
Happenstance says: "What about Ora? Or Blue Smoke?" and "PLEASE PLEASE help me!"
Are you up for this challenge?? Oh so many thanks in advance! and I will attempt an exceptional review...
