Solo Dining in downtown Chicago

ConsApi | Jun 8, 2017 12:42 PM

I'm staying at the Palmer House, all by my lonesome self. Need to find an interesting place for dinner, not too expensive, I'd like the total bill for one to be less than $50. And a place that is welcoming to solo diners. Anywhere in the loop is OK, and other nearby neighborhood reachable by transit or a short cab ride. Places that serve the full menu at the bar is fine, in fact, it's sometimes more interesting more a solo diner, as you can have the opportunity to make conversation. I'm not particular about cuisine, as long as it's good. Any sugestions are welcome.
