Soigne- Baltimore

Sorry I haven't gotten to this earlier, I did take a meal at soigne last week. I don't have much to add to the already excellent review posted below. I for one would order the stuffed calamari again, but then I don't remember the price because I scarfed it right down. we also had the foie gras/scallop appetizer which was scrumptuous. Marlin was one entree, the other Scallop and risotto. I agree that the Marlin was awesome, and I quite enjoyed the scallops. One word of warning though, this ends up being a rich dish, so go for it if you are looking for something heartier than you think scallops can be. We had lemongrass sorbet for dessert, and we thought it was the perfect end to the meal. Perhaps a little pastier than you think of sorbet being, but with an intriguing flavor, and ingeniously paired with fresh pineapple and spicy marinated red peppercorns. All desserts are housemade, and should not be missed. We left stuffed, delighted, and eager to return.
They've got good people in there all around- give staff a little time to get ramped up- they really have been taken by surprise. Wine list also ramping up in a hurry, and staff is getting training on that too.
